A tribute to Harry’s House/Centerpiece by Joni Mitchell.

Atop the Pan Am roof, there lands a helicopter. Its hard, swift blades contrast with the delicate, iridescent colors of a dragonfly’s wings as they ripple in the wind. This visual irony reflects life’s confusions and frustrations.

Conflicted feelings and raw emotions come to the surface, much like these mixed currents of color. All is not well and things finally came crashing down in that household of Harry’s.
